Last post was very technical, so this post is just about the cooking stuff I've discovered that is not about computers or LLMs at all.
Beakers
Beakers are great. They're so much better than trying to measure out teaspoons.
Freezer Stickers
Freezer stickers are incredibly useful, especially when used on vegetables. Figuring out what to eat first and how long something has been in the fridge has always been a problem – now I can just pick out the oldest thing.
They also work great for organizing the kitchen drawers.
Prep Bowls
A friend recommended prep bowls for keeping chopped up garlic and spices handy until I needed them for cooking.
Spoon Rest
This wasn't new, but when I posted on Slack it was popular.
Squeezy Bottles
I got squeezy bottles after I got sick of having giant glass bottles in the fridge.
Microwave Steamer
Using a microwave steamer for broccoli is so much easier than blanching it. Also works great on cold burritos.
Costco Rotisserie Chicken Breast Meat
I'm not the first person to have discovered this, but it's an easy source of protein for cooking.
